My Project

My first grade students often need practice and reinforcement in developing finger muscles to become amazing readers and writers! Learning to hold a pencil and form letters takes a lot of work and concentration and it's easy for students who lack the required fine motor skills to give up when it comes to practicing these important skills.

These requested tools will help turn tedious writing practice into fun games!

Students will be able to practice and strengthen their finger muscles through play and fun! They will look forward to our "finger practice time" instead of getting frustrated. These tools will help them not only become amazing writers, but have fun while doing it!
