This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will use these books to fill out or add whole-group novel opportunities for my students. I will have the ability to teach Animal Farm with my 9th grade accelerated class and continue to teach Killers of the Flower Moon and Just Mercy in my AP English Language Class.
It is vitally important for students to find books that stand out to them and that they can connect with.
These books have been very successful in doing this in the past, and I look forward to instilling the love of language and reading with these students!
