Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Using maps, globes and writing materials will allow the students to find their place in the world.

Our students will have the opportunity to demonstrate how they interact with the world and culminate with a partner presentation on how the climate and world changes impact them.

Students will take action as a result of their learning by making posters and presenting their projects to the school community. The use of technology is integrated as our school has issued chromebooks for individual use where they can research and share information.

Students will be provided an opportunity to engage with the broader leaning community as they will be provided community mentors who will support them as they navigate their research.
