This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students, all of whom have Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and are classified with disabilities, face significant communication challenges that can impact their academic progress. All of these students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and do not have access to the resources they need to thrive.
By incorporating technology and educational games into speech therapy sessions, we can create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that meets the unique needs of each child.
Interactive tools such as tablets, apps, and specialized games can help students practice speech and language skills in a way that is motivating and accessible. These resources provide individualized feedback, allowing students to learn at their own pace and develop confidence in their abilities.
For students who might struggle with traditional approaches, technology offers an innovative solution that fosters engagement, making learning both fun and effective. With your support, we can give these students the tools they need to overcome their communication barriers and achieve their fullest potential.
