My Project

Without speaking we cannot communicate with one another. As an English Language Learner (ELL), speaking skills are considered key to learning a language. In fact, when learning any new language, speaking comes first before we can learn to read or write. These resources, such as the puppet set and headphones, will help my students practice speaking with their peers. Learning to express themselves verbally in English will serve them in many areas of life. They will be able to better communicate their feelings, needs, and ideas. Also, using academic vocabulary will improve not just their speaking, but their reading and writing as well.
