Help me give my students the tools to learn about diversity and history from a perspective that is not usually explored.

My Project

What do my students really know? Who gives them that information? Reading, and then reading again from different perspectives, cultures, and voices will help students to grow their own voices and exposes them to diversity and equity. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently to learn.

All these books will help students to be exposed to subject matter giving them more than one "side" to the issues they need to learn about to create great leaders for our future society.

I love exposing students to new authors and new ideas. It is the only way to grow independent thinkers who use their skills to make a difference in their lives and those around them.
