The last few years have been especially tough on our students, which is why I am hoping to collaboratively create a calm, inclusive, and accessible area for students to unwind, destress, and find empowerment through reading. I constantly strive to create a library space that is welcoming and empowering for all students to visit and relax! Our students desperately need these peaceful areas to ensure that they continue to practice self-care to ensure their best social-emotional and academic development. What better place to create a community of well-being, than in the school library with the bean bag loungers and soft rockers?
