Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will use these Finch Robots to write a program that can draw greeting cards and posters to spread kindness in our school community. The Time for Kids monthly focus is ‘kindness counts’. We work with our kids to live this daily.
Many students are afraid to try text-based programming, but I want them to see that coding is fun and can have a huge impact on our community!
The Finch robot not only gets my students collaborating and coding, but it also allows them to show off their creative minds! I learned about these robots during a Pathfinders PD session. Please help my students gain confidence in their coding and display their creativity!
