My students come to school ready to play and learn in a safe and fun environment. In my classroom, my students can explore and grow, while building confidence within themselves. I believe in a hands-on active learning environment and strive to maintain one for my children that attend our full day Pre-K program for ages three through five years old. These children are our future and I am so honored to be able to lend a guiding hand as they begin their path in this world. They are growing and learning with each new experience, obstacle and milestone.
My children are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners.
They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them. My children come from hardworking families that want the best for their children. As their teacher, I want to provide them with experiences and opportunities that will expand their knowledge and instill a life long love of learning.
My Project
Financial literacy is a skill that is never too early to learn. It starts with early math concepts such as counting, identifying numbers, comparing (more, less or equal to), adding and subtracting. We are learning these important math skills in our PreK classroom, and now as we visit our children at home, due to the closing of schools because of the corona virus. We are asking you to donate to our project so that we can supply our children with Math Flip Boards Early Math Folder Game Libraries, Classroom Money Kit, Pop and Add Games and the Find the Number Activity Center. They are easily portable so we can take them to each students house as we visit and to add to our math resources when we finally return to our classrooms. We will be able to spark interest, build on and strengthen math skills in our PreK classroom which will help strengthen Financial Literacy skills as the children grow and learn.
