This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items would be a great addition to my special ed class. It would allow the students to practice making budgets in the classroom, make change, and practice counting money. It also would be really good to help teach the life skill of a savings account so the ATM will help the students make the connection between a digital dollar amount and a physical amount that they are able to hold in their hands. This would create a lot of fun games for the kids in the classroom all while increasing financial literacy.
