My Project

Financial Literacy: Building Smart Money Habits

Objective:

The project aims to equip kids with essential financial literacy skills, enabling them to make informed decisions about money management, budgeting, saving, and investing. The goal is to prepare students for real-world financial responsibilities, fostering a foundation for long-term financial well-being.

Intro to Financial Literacy

Students will learn the basics of personal finance, including income, expenses, and the importance of budgeting.

Budgeting and Saving

Practical lessons on how to create a budget, track expenses, and set realistic savings goals. Students will practice managing a fictional monthly budget to cover necessities and savings.

Outcomes:

By the end of the program, students will have the skills and confidence to manage their personal finances, avoid common financial pitfalls, and begin planning for their financial future.
