My Project
Help me give my students engaged and enriched centers for our fun Friday activities. Students will be able to learn how to collaborate and work together for these team-building activities, that also incorporate ELA, Math, and Science.
Through these enrichment centers, we can focus on financial responsibility and literacy.
Students will be able to utilize these games to work further their skill sets in all aspects of learning. They will be able to build, learn, and work together in a collaborative environment.
I can’t wait to see the engineering and building skills my students will learn using the magna tiles and K’nex. My students will learn financial literacy through monopoly.
With working in a Title 1 school, many students do not have the opportunity to have these types of learning opportunities in their home life. Many are taken care of by their siblings, and school is one place where they are able to be themselves and learn in a safe environment. My hope for this project is that they will always feel that this classroom is a safe place to learn and grow in their academics.
