Help me give my students financial literacy knowledge at this year's book fair.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Noonan's classroom raised $196
This project is fully funded
My Project
I have the privilege of being one of the reading specialists at a public school in West Philadelphia. One of the most exciting parts of this job is getting to run the school's book fair. This time of year is so exciting for students and teachers. Students love coming in and shopping for the newest books and other school supplies at the fair.
The value of a dollar and budgeting is something I wish I could teach students.
Students quickly become disappointed if they do not have enough money budgeted to afford all of their desired books and toys. I'd like to relieve some of this stress by teaching financial literacy to the students who visit the book fair.
These students deserve to expand their love of reading and continue to grow as both a learner and human being without worrying about a price. Please consider supporting our classroom and helping my students build a sense of self alongside their love of reading.
