Our close knit Title I school is located in a beautiful country setting. The students are energetic, curious and work hard. The parents are positive and the community is a great resource of support. Each day the students come into school hoping to have fun, make friends and learn. Many of them love to be challenaged. They enjoy the feeling of accomplishment in everything they do. Our staff works hard each day to make sure the students experience a positive environment.
My Project
A printer with ink is greatly needed in our classroom. The students need a printer with ink so that they can print their work from their iPads and chromebooks when they are finished with their projects. Many times, printers outside of the room are not working, or jammed or being used and projects are not able to be printed. The ink will be stored as a back up supply, so that the students will always have the chance to print their work.
The students will use the pocket folders to hold their writing pieces in both draft and completed form.
They will also use the folders to carry their work home and back to school each day.
The students love to have snacks available. The snacks, candy bars, blow pops and sour twists will be used to help the students celebrate their birthdays. Students will be able to grab a special snack for their birthday and one for their birthday buddy. Also, students will enjoy a snack when they need something small to hold them over until lunch or time to go home. Students have a difficult time learning when they are hungry.
The benefit of this project for the students is that they will have the opportunity to print their work instantly so they can share what they have done. They will have all their materials in one place neat and organized and be able to learn without growling tummies. The treats will provide them with something to share with their friends when it is their special day. Thank you for your support. This project will make for a wonderful school year.
