Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We luckily have a nice screen in our room for the teacher to share PowerPoints, websites, video clips, and movies.
The thing is, the sound quality is terrible.
The sound comes out of the screen and offers a low volume, sometimes scratchy sound with only treble and no bass. Students often complain about the quality of the sound when they're watching or listening to something.
Your donation will provide a direct and easy fix to this problem. With a nice Bluetooth speaker system, it will be easy for me (or anyone else) to connect to high-quality sound for a significantly better watching/listening experience.
I'm most excited for the impact this will have on educational clips during class (for example, we were watching When They See Us and comparing the film to the text The Central Park Five) and for showing movies for my after-school club.
