My Project

Our students have been struggling without the school buses so many students in my first classes of the day come in late. I'm hoping that snacks, many breakfast related will help to motivate students to come in on time and if they were in a rush, I'd have some breakfast snacks to fill their tummies. Our other students can sometimes go through the lag during the day and something as small as a snack can help keep them engaged.

Filling their tummies and giving them the opportunity to move their bodies will motivate and engage both their bodies and minds.

In addition, activities that can help get them off their seats an moving around is another way to keep their brains engaged and motivated to learn. Items like the string are definite musts for activities like creating geometric shapes in a team. Laminating sheets are great for task cards or scavenger hunts and the tape is needed to keep them on the walls without damage. The last item is touch screen stylus pens that students can use when working on their chromebooks and trying to make math on the chromebook more accessible by allowing students to write and draw on the chromebook itself.
