Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me fill in the materials gaps in my classroom. Most students show up on the first day of school with their backpacks full of the things they will need to be successful in school but every year, a few students show up with few or no supplies at all.
We make due with what we have but every student should have the supplies they need to be successful.
I am asking for the basic materials they will use every single day: pencils, crayons, colored pencils, highlighters, markers, erasers, and Post-it notes, and a pouch to put the supplies when they are not being used.
This is not a big deal project for every kid, but for the few who need it, having their own supplies is a big deal! Thank you for supporting us!
