My Students

Our new way of teaching and learning involves Zoom meetings, communication on ClassDojo and a closed preschool group on Facebook.

Distance learning has taught me how to think outside the box, connecting with families on a deeper and more personal level.

At home, my resources are limited, especially art supplies, books and typical routine materials, and curriculum.

My Project

The Melissa & Doug Puppet Theater will be used together with Sarah, Peach Mom / Teacher, Full Body, Ventriloquist Style Puppet, Happy Kids Hand Puppets Multi Ethnic and Diversity Collection, Pull String Marionette Ostrich and Constructive Playthings Expression Babies Plush Dolls, Super Soft Baby Dolls Set for interactions with students, creating a fun avenue to promote healthy social-emotional coping skills.

The well-loved character backpacks, including Paw Patrol, DC Superhero, Thomas the Train, Frozen 2, Dinosaurs and Unicorns will be filled with activities and materials (including: Play-Doh Modeling Compound, My First Crayola Double Doodle Board, Microwavable Lavender Scented Plush Toy Stuffed Animal, Learning Resources All About Me 2 in 1 Mirrors, Sand Timers, board books) for comfort and calm down time when they need space for themselves.

Through Distance Learning, my preschool students will be provided with guidance, pre-teaching and models to support learning at home, and how to use the backpack comfort kits upon return to school.
