Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is located in a low-income neighborhood. More than ninety percent of our students are Hispanic, and most of them came from Mexico. They are eager to learn and they need something different to get motivated. There are many TAG schools around us and we want to make our school better by making wonderful Escape Rooms!

My Project

Since the beginning of the year I have been singing songs with my kiddos. By this project, I would like to introduce them to the music world.

I would like to give them a special gift and for sure, play together in the classroom.

Thanks to music we created special moments and memories. It is a moment to teach fluency and for sure, poetry and figurative language. I want to continue creating this experience together by giving them these prizes and teach them the basics of harmony.

At the end of the year, I am going to give these instruments to some of them as a gift to encourage them to continue learning and for sure, to remind me.
