My Students
We seriously have some of the best students in our small-town elementary school. The students are always eager to learn new art techniques and test out their skills with new and engaging materials as well as "play" at the end of their work time.
Our students anticipate creating and exploring their world.
Having the materials in the classroom will open new pathways to learning and enjoying the beauty that is art that is all around them.
I am excited to invite our students back into the art room this year. By giving them some extra incentives to try their best and work hard, they will be able to keep creating through play with art manipulatives and games.
My students are always excited to see me and are ready to work. Having a classroom of students who I am preparing for success is a joy and the best reward. Sharing their time between art curriculum and play will help build their bond with art and how it can be approached from any angle.
My Project
Having color coded paint brushes will help my students differentiate between the sizes of bristles and will allow them to organize them properly after clean up. My students have used the same crummy paintbrushes for more than 5 years and it is time to replace the brushes that have been ruined by improper use and lack of attention to cleaning them when they are done using them.
The plastic drawer organizer will also help with storage and organization of these new paintbrushes and hopefully give them a longer life span!
