My Project

The end of the school year is coming and every year we take the kindergarteners outside to get lots of play time with their friends before summer break begins. We take them on picnics, to the tennis courts, and out to the playground to enjoy the last bit of their school year. We often find students are playing so hard that they are becoming hungry or thirsty before lunch is served in the mid-morning or even after lunch is served in the afternoon.

I want to fill our classroom fridge with snacks & drinks that the students can grab and take on-the-go to hold them over while they are having fun with their friends outside.

The fruit pouches, individually packaged crackers and meat sticks, and mini bottled waters would meet our needs perfectly. There would be enough for every student to grab a snack and a drink on our way outside on the days that we are playing all day. My goal is to keep my students well fed in the last few weeks that they are in my care.
