My Project

I am going into my first year teaching as a Kindergarten teacher! I absolutely love working with students everyday and be able to watch them flourish academically, thrive socially, and grow up into great individuals. School is a place where students get to work in groups, individually, and with the teacher to become the best version of themself! As a first year teacher I have added some crucial materials I have seen success with in the classroom already.

Seating, sensory tools, manipulatives, and neat organization all help create a successful learning environment all students desire.

Seating is a necessity as students will be moving around throughout the day to complete many different academic tasks. Organization is essential for not only myself, but also for keeping clear expectations for the students. This means making sure tools and materials are easily accessible to students at all times. Toys and sensory materials are important for the designated Kindergarten times where students can build, draw, and create what they choose.

These materials on my list will be used daily by students, myself, and other members in the building. These tools will allow me to create a desirable classroom where students want to learn and grow. I am very excited for this next adventure as a first year teacher!
