My Students
My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources above basic school supplies. Some of the biggest challenges my families face is the ability to provide extra resources and opportunities for their children.
We need to get each student the support needed to be successful in the classroom.
A large percentage of our students live in multi-family member homes, foster homes, other family members and friends' homes, and hotels or motels. My students need support as a whole child.
My Project
My students live in an area where it is hard for parents to provide extra resources for their child. My students are in need of snacks while at school to keep them healthy and full. These snacks will help students stay engaged and learn while in the classroom.
My students need different snack options throughout the day to help keep them full, engaged, and ready to learn.
These individually wrapped snacks will be offered throughout the day when students need a little extra pick-me up to get through. The snacks will provide the student a way to continue to stay focused and learn.
