My Project

I recently took over a first-grade classroom. After the previous teacher got her personal belongings, my class was left with literally nothing. We didn't even have a single book! I've gathered a small selection of books so far, but we still don't have enough and most aren't on the students' reading level.

My students need books, so this project will provide them with a large variety of books on their level to choose from.

I am asking for books from favorite characters such as Biscuit and Pete the Cat. Biscuit will be great for my students who aren't strong readers quite yet. I am also asking for a few level 2 books for my students who have been reading for a while. Lastly, I have also asked for several "I Want to Be A" book. This will let children explore different future careers in a fun story format.
