This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students come to school in need of essential supplies to learn and focus comfortably. They deserve to have these supplies accessible to them in every classroom. I often have to stop and send students out of the room to get what they need. Or students are unable to participate and don't know where to ask for their needs.

By providing students the simple but essential supplies to meet their needs they can focus on their studies.

I want to keep a care cabinet stocked with hygiene products, snacks, and some basic school supplies that will allow students to focus on learning. Some of these are classroom supplies, some are for hygiene, some address hunger. The care cabinet will be available to all students.
