My project has many parts, and you have come across the 1st and 2nd grade section! Recently, our school received a grant for a Vending Book Machine, which will allow all students to receive a brand new book when they earn it. Students can earn a token for the machine by working hard in the classroom: academically or emotionally. As students are exposed to reading opportunities, it will allow growth in all academic areas. We want to give all students an opportunity to take a brand new book home. Not all students have the same opportunities in life, so our goal is to have our vending machine close the gap!
