This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We're kicking off a brand new school year and there are a few essentials we already know we're going to need as we think about the year ahead. We need to restock, replace, and introduce a few new items as well.
From crafting to charging devices to making sure our basic needs are met, this project has a little bit of everything!
Crafting trays will make it easier for my students to manage materials during our fun projects, some of which are in need of a supply restock. This is why I'm requesting doilies, paper bags, and glue. We need a spacious power strip that can accommodate large adaptors to charge student devices. Prizes for the Prize Bin are a must to provide the kiddos with incentives and rewards.
And finally, while all of our students receive free lunch, the day is long and they do need a snack to get them through the school day. Some of my kids are unable to bring a snack from home for any number of reasons. I want to make sure all of my students have their basic needs met and am requesting some snacks to be kept in the classroom for them.
