My students need materials to keep an organized classroom and one more Chromebook to replace the one which broke after my last Chromebook project posted.
My students belong to a college-preparatory exam school in an urban district. They are high achievers. Many will be the first in their family to go on to college after they graduate from high school.
The students whom I teach are bright, dedicated, and curious.
They work hard to understand the material even though the resources which are available to them may be outdated. These students deserve the best and I can only give that to them with your help!
My Project
My last Donors Choose project was to fill up our class Chromebook cart. When I created it, we only needed 5 more laptops to complete the set. Unfortunately, after I posted the product, another Chromebook broke and it had to be thrown away.
This new project will complete the cart so that all 30 slots will be filled with a working Chromebook.
Additionally, I would like to get rid of the 2 desks which are currently taking up lots of space in the classroom. I have 2 file cabinets which I will rely upon for storage. I will need more files to keep the student work organized. Additionally, students will need to use the space vertically to hold papers instead of the table in the front of the room. The hanging file organizer will let us use the walls for that purpose.
