My Project
I am a special education teacher and work in an inclusion classroom, and this would be beneficial in helping them better organize themselves. Having a place for them to organize their work will help minimize stress/anxiety, improve time management, lessen distractions and promote independence. My goal is for students to have more grit, become more independent and increase confidence. I think having these storage cabinets will teach students to organize their materials, become more responsible for their materials/learning and reduce frustration. A lot of the students I work with have a really hard time organizing their materials and get frustrated when they can't find their materials. This current school year, my students have been using the 2-gallon Ziploc bags to organize their materials, but having this storage cabinet would be much appreciated.
