My Students

My students are a fabulous group of first graders. They are sweet, fun-loving five and six year olds. They work hard each and every day to be the best students that they can be. They are working so hard to learn how to read, write, add numbers, and all of the math skills. Each child in my classroom has a love for learning and deserves the absolute best. They give everything they have the moment they enter the classroom. Each day they achieve and aspire new goals.

My students are on 100% free lunch.

We are a small parish that was devastated from Katrina and rebuilding to make a difference.

My Project

My classroom is a very diverse group of students. I teach mostly in small groups and use individualized learning. I am in need of materials to help promote and foster a willingness to complete work to achieve the next level in learning.

My students are working at their own pace and level to create a love for learning.

I need material to help them with this continuation.

Floor puzzles are engaging to all students because it uses problem solving. It also fosters team work and helps build peer relationships that is missing in today's society. This would allow my students to work together as teams and enjoy what they are doing.
