Have you ever found it hard to sit still or focus on your work cause you were worried about what would happen next? Well, students in my class deal with this reality every day.
Students in my classroom deal with constant anxiety about being in school.
While interventions like consistency, clear directions, and positive and negative supports help, so do movement and weight.
Wobble chairs and weighted vests have a proven effect on reducing anxiety. With different options of how to attend class and different options to help calm the central nervous system, students will be able to take a deep breath and focus on learning instead of their anxiety.
