Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The 5th grade students at my school are hard working students that are leaders who strive for greatness! I will need supplies to organize their work and other documentation that may be needed throughout the year. I will also need ink for my printer to run off any activities or newsletters home to the parents. These students are in need of help this coming up school year. As a teacher, I am on a strict budget and I want the best for my students!

My Project

It will help my students and I stay organize in so many ways. Having great organization skills may help students perform better academically. Having classroom mailboxes will also allow my parents to stop by and view their child's graded/completed assignments. My students also need pencils as well. There are several students who come to school unprepared without the supplies that they need such as pencil, paper, etc. In April, we are getting ready to take a standardized test that will require the students to use a number 2 pencil to bubble in their answers. If anyone could please support my students with the supplies they need, I would certainly appreciate it.
