My Students

As a teacher of an amazing group of general education and special education 5th grade students, I am continually surprised by their zest for learning. Many of my students ride a bus for 45 minutes or more just to come to my school. It is with this in mind, that I do everything I can to provide a positive environment.

If you asked my students who is the smartest 5th grade class, they would say, "We are!".

Even with their struggles, my students feel encourage, motivated, and equal to their peers. No matter what the struggle, we are up for the challenge as a team.

My Project

Many of the programs I use for blended learning in my classroom are internet based. With the current amount of technology I have in my classroom, my students often have to wait to complete tasks. This is less than optimal for their educational success and they learn best using technology that inspires them.

More Chromebooks will increase the frequency with which my students can achieve success.

With our goal setting, my students are highly motivated. They love competition and this technology helps them compete. Technology is the future of education and my students deserve the best future they can achieve.
