Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

"We are a family" is our classroom number one rule that and we live by it every day.
My students quickly learn that I am a little loony and that I like to sing, dance, and climb tables and chairs. During the school year, my students are exposed to large doses of craziness and creativity to encourage their abstract thinking. I believe that standardized tests can sometimes weakened children's ability to transcend traditional ideas and common school practices. I also believe that students can learn to appreciate art by using technology by making connections, creating videos, research artist and eras.
My Project
During our day, we use technology to enhance learning, practice concepts, learn new strategies, or to catch up on missed activities using digital lessons. "Empowering Students Through Art" can have a positive impact in our daily lessons. My students will use the 2 iPads (with covers) to create digital photography projects. Students will also use iPad apps to create projects that they will paint and print. They will research different types of art media and will use Aurasma and other apps to create videos demonstrating the use of mixed media, drawing and crafts.
As technology continues to become an important part of the education field, we need to strive to stay updated to offer our students with the most current and dynamic technologies to enhance their learning ensuring their success.
Having a device that can be used in many ways such as art and the use of their creativity will provide my students genuine learning experiences.
