This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my new 5th graders, and I want to give them a special gift—a tangible memory book.

My students will create their own 5th grade memoirs, appreciating the value of non-technology, hand-crafted memories from their final year in primary school.

These accordion-style memory books will be decorated with calligraphy lettering and creative designs, making each one unique and personal.

Students naturally enjoy celebrating their growth and achievements throughout school. These memory books will highlight their accomplishments, reflect on their goals for the future, and showcase their hard work.

By creating these books, students will take pride in their achievements, build self-esteem, and carry with them a lasting reminder of their abilities and potential as they continue their educational journey.
