My students are eager learners who love technology and projects.

I have twenty-one diverse learners who come from various backgrounds, mostly rural households. My school services a large population of low-income students and the use of technology is not accessible in all homes. The addition of the technology provided by the iPad Mini's would be extremely beneficial to my students who are struggling with current applications. Providing students who do not have access to this technology outside of the classroom an avenue to develop the skills necessary to succeed in today's technology driven society.

My Project

My students will use these two requested iPad minis for many learning activities. Students will be able to record themselves reading, play interactive math and reading games, and use other programs to enhance their learning. Using the iPad minis students will increase their desire and motivation to learn.

As I stated before the addition of Apple's technology and applications my classroom would allow my students, who are not privileged enough to have this technology readily available at home, the ability to learn on the same level as the students who are fortunate enough to have this technology readily available.
