Science Olympiad is a competition that asks kids to compete in 23 different science and engineering events. They work in teams to solve STEM-related challenges such as building an accurate time-keeping device with water or designing and constructing a plane that only uses a rubber band as its engine and stays in the air as long as possible.
In order to compete in Science Olympiad, students need a wide range of science and engineering supplies.
For example, they need computers to design a device that will measure force, or use that same computer to program a robot. They may need digital scales to help with their food chemistry event or glassware to compete in their biochemistry event.
