My Project

Physical education is about teaching kids the importance of physical activity and exposing them to a wide variety of activities. All activities require practice to become proficient. When students have to wait in line to have a turn, the success rate of learning these activities goes down, as well as proper behavior in our class setting.

The equipment that is being requested can help alleviate these problems.

Having more snag balls, launch pads, and bullseye targets will decrease the wait time for students to be active during our golf unit. The wagons will help in moving equipment around between grade levels. The Rainbow Tumble set will help teach the children cooperation and teamwork. Having a full set of hurdles will decrease the wait time during our track and field unit. The field marker and field chalk will help keep the children in their designated areas and safe from others. The tape will aid in repairing equipment when needed. Finally, the rope will be a nice reward for the children to use and keep their hands safe from injury.

Students will have the benefit of having equipment to work with at their own rate, which improves success: success at every skill level!
