This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a Title 1 school that loves to create magical moments for our students. This project would allow students, PK-5th Grade to design their own customized hat for field day! They would use fabric markers to draw and color their hat. Students would wear the hats and hopefully it will prevent sunburns and overheating. We will also have a blacklight room for cooling off and drinking water. The hats will glow! They would get to take them home as a memory of their childhood and a fantastic day. In addition to creativity, the hats would build teamwork and connections among students. It is important to build relationships and respect among our students. These skills last a lifetime. Also, it promotes a healthy lifestyle of exercise and play. Please support our project! The students will be so grateful and excited. This is a big impact project! Thank you!
