My Students

My students are creative, diverse, and hard working. They truly inspire me to be a better teacher! My students come to school each day ready to work, think outside the box, and tackle new challenges!

My students are from all different backgrounds and have a wide range of needs.

Despite their differences, they work together daily to grow their knowledge of math and science. Their acceptance of one another and willingness to always help a classmate in need are inspiring.

My Project

I am working towards transforming our classroom into a full flexible seating room in order to meet the needs of each of my students.

By providing them with different seating options, students will be able to choose a spot in which they know they will be able to focus and do their best for the day.

Two different style white board tables would be a great addition to our classroom to help us make this transition! At one table, students will be able to choose to sit on Hokki stools, while the other table will offer exercise balls for chairs! Encouraging students to become self aware and begin self monitoring through their daily seat choices will prepare them for their future!
