it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn, even when focusing can be a challenge. Many of them benefit from sensory supports to stay engaged throughout the day. That’s why I’ve chosen these specific resources to meet their unique needs.
Each item in this project is chosen with love and intention to support a classroom environment where all students can feel comfortable, focused, and successful.
The EXPO marker variety pack will help us make learning more interactive. Students love coming up to the board to solve problems, write answers, or draw during lessons. It keeps them engaged and proud to participate.
The stress balls offer a quiet, non-disruptive way for students to release excess energy or anxiety. For example, one of my students uses a stress ball to stay calm during reading time, and it’s made a noticeable difference in his confidence.
The fidget bands will be attached to student chairs to help those who need movement to stay focused. Instead of getting up and pacing the room, they can quietly fidget while still participating in the lesson.
The 4x6 carpet will be a cozy gathering space for class meetings, read-alouds, and small group activities, offering a soft spot where students feel safe and included. The addition of a wobbly cushion will support students who need movement while seated, helping them stay engaged during longer tasks.
