Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This time of year is always tough. This is my students' first year taking state exams and they are working very hard to prepare for them. I have a class store to teach them financial literacy. They earn fake money to purchase items and lunch experiences or save for a rainy day. It's working like a charm but my shelves need to be restocked.

I could really use your help keeping my kiddos motivated with some fresh items.

I took a survey of some things they would like to buy. Slime is always a big hit, but the plushies and mini figures are a hot commodity. The fidgets keep them focused and help with their test anxiety. I love watching them peruse the store shelves and leave with a smile on their face. They earn what they buy and deserve to be spoiled.
