My Project

As the Resource Specialist, not only do I work with students on my caseload that have IEPs, but I am a "resource" to help all students throughout the school. Help me give students at our school the fidgets and sensory toys they need. Fidgets are not just toys. They are important learning tools.

Fidgets can help students manage stress and anxiety and keep a calm body.

They are valuable learning tools that help students learn to self-regulate and calm their bodies so that they can tackle academic work, too! Visual timers help students stay on track and transition to the next activity. These visual tools provide structure and motivate students to complete an activity.

The label maker and rolling storage cart will assist us in keeping these learning tools organized in our classroom so that they are accessible to all students throughout the school.
