This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students with special needs sometimes have a difficult time focusing due to their disability. Squish balls and fidgets are effective tools to help them concentrate while working on class assignments.
Students with special needs can feel overwhelmed while learning new math concepts.
Sometimes they tend to shut down as a coping mechanism. A fidget or squish ball can help relieve their anxiety. This allows them to focus on the math concept or lesson.
My goal is to improve their focus which will in turn increase their learning in math class.
