My Project
My class has a lot of energy this year and we are having difficulty settling back in after winter break.
Fidgets are a tool and just like a construction site everybody needs the correct tool to be able to get the job done, this variety of fidget tools will allow students to discover which one is the tool that works best for them.
A couple of the chairs in my classroom have bungie cords on the chairs so that the students can kick and have resistance on their feet during the class period. Many students have asked about having them on their chairs, but we have run out.
Although we have calming strips and different fidget tools in the classroom, we don't have enough for every student. Every student is unique in their own way and needs tools that will help them. Having many different options will also allow students to have a fidget tool for any time they need.
