Fidgets for Fabulous Kids

Help me give my students fidgets so they can remain in the classroom while they regulate their emotions and behavior.

My Students

My students are diagnosed with a wide range of disabilities, from Down Syndrome, autism, genetic conditions, ADHD, and other health impairments. Most of them are reading at a kindergarten/first-grade level.

Despite all their challenges, my students love school and try their best every day.

They have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, never letting COVID-19 restrictions stop them. My students have grown so much academically, socially, and emotionally this last year, and I want to continue to support them as much as possible.

My Project

My students need a variety of sensory items to help them focus and re-set if they are struggling emotionally or behaviorally. Fidgets provide students with a way to release anxiety while staying in the classroom and engaged in academics. The more my students are in the classroom, the more services they are receiving.

My hope is that by providing them with these fidgets, they will have the tools they need to be successful in the classroom.

A stress ball or squishy animal can make a huge difference in their ability to make academic, social, and emotional progress!
