My Students

I have 6 awesome students in 3rd-4th grade. My class is one of three classes in our district for students with autism. We love learning! My students are visual, hands-on learners who deserve the best academic experience possible!

We spend our days learning about academic subjects, social skills, and we all mainstream into general education classes to further our social skills and make new friends.

Our school was the 36th school internationally to receive STEM certification and we are a STEAM school.

My Project

My students need essential oils to help with focus, illnesses, and as a natural remedy for everyday things in our classroom. Many of my students have attention difficulties, essential oils and fidgets will help them focus and in their seat ready to learn. The scissors will replace the teacher scissors that got broken this year. Poppin peepers are a fun fidget that students can use when taking their sensory break. This time helps us to focus or calm down so we are ready to learn. The light up molecule ball is another fun fidget that the kids will get excited about and be motivated to work for.
