This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The number of students with different abilities has increased greatly since the pandemic. My second grade CHAMPIONS spend a lot of time on the floor working in small groups as a way to learn cooperation, as well as our lessons.

Floor time works so much better when each student's space is well defined and they have a fidget in hand to help them focus!

This project will give us cushions for floor seating, paddle boards for writing as we work, and quiet fidgets to help us focus, but not distract others! With these items our class will be the best prepared and most engaged group of CHAMPIONS in the school!
