Help me give my students the ability to release their energy, regulate their emotions, and decrease tension. With these fidget tools, our students will be more calm and focused.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students want to succeed and they want to be confident. A majority of our students struggle with either ADHD, Anxiety, or trauma that affects their ability to focus. Many of them are not medicated for various reasons.
These fidget products will allow them to release some of that pent up emotion in a physical way while also distracting them from intrusive thoughts.
We do have a part time counselor and other groups that visit once a week. However, our students need something that is available immediately and that is discrete.
These fidget devises offer a simple way for students to experience a little more comfort both physically and mentally. I know that we all will appreciate the change in energy within our classes.
