My Students
Students enter my classroom each day knowing that they are the future of the world and it is their learning that will make them the leaders of tomorrow. My classroom is set up with 3D printers and other STEAM tools so that a hands-on learning experience is incorporated into each class. By the end of the year, I want my students to be at the forefront of STEM education because junior engineers and scientists will be leading the way for the future.
Each student is unique in their own way, which makes learning that much more special.
My students love learning about the ever-changing world of science and are captivated by the fact that every day brings new discoveries in science. The school is a welcoming environment that encourages higher-level learning while supporting the students at every step. The school houses over 1,400 middle school students who come from different ethnic backgrounds. In order to strengthen their learning experience, I want my students to utilize all the possible resources I can provide for them.
My Project
After spending nearly 18 months at home, students are still anxious about being back in school. The anxiety and stress level is at a level that I have never seen before. After buying a few fidget toys for students, I have seen a drastic difference that it makes for student concentration.
When students are able to fidget with something in their hands, they focus on their reading and work in front of them so much more.
These fidget toys will allow students to have a greater attention span for the work, which will result in more powerful learning.
